We understand that your schedule may allow you to help in different ways at different times of the year. Every year we aim for 9 predetermined Saturdays where our volunteers drive around town to pick up the donation bag(s) left out on doorsteps.
By signing up to be a donor you are added to our distribution list and will be sent reminder emails ahead of each pick-up date.
If you can't donate on a particular date then please email us letting us know and we can have your address crossed out for that particular route (we typically have 6 routes). If you don't email us to let us know you are not leaving a donation bag then our volunteer drivers are making unnecessary stops and wasting time and gas.
If at any time you need to remove yourself from being a food donor then please email asimplegestureashland@gmail.com to notify us.
